Honey

Honey is probably the first sweetener know to mankind. Honey can be used in place of sugar to sweeten drinks, compotes, poached or baked fruits, for cakes, sponges, cookies, and savory dishes, as well.

Savory

Savory is usually one of the herbs added to the herbs the Provence mix. There are two main varieties, winter savory and summer savory.

Sage

The favorite herb in stuffing for poultry and a great addition to any roast or flavored butter, however, use sage with a light hand it would overpower any other flavor easily.

Oregano

Oregano adds a pungent peppery flavor to fish, meat, and poultry dishes and harmonizes beautifully with eggplant, tomatoes, pizza or pasta. Mexican chilli and chilli powders count on oregano as an essential ingredient.
