Mustard is prepared from ground mustard seeds, liquid and seasoning. The liquid can be water, vinegar, wine, beer or grape must. Check the list of ingredients as commercial Dijon mustard may contain vinegar.

If you cannot find vinegar free mustard, substitute 1 Tbs prepared mustard with:
1 tsp mustard powder + 1-2 tsp water
1 tsp mustard seeds
