Russian dressing (Nebraska)
For your Reuben sandwich.
Ingredients
3⁄4 cup mayonnaise
1⁄4 cup tomato ketchup (tomato ketchup, about 4 tablespoons)
1 tablespoon onion (grated)
seasoning (salt and pepper to taste)
Instructions
Mix all ingredients in a bowl and chill in the refrigerator. Use within 48 hours.

Notes
If desired, you can enhance the Russian dressing. Try one or more of the following:
- Substitute tomato ketchup with cocktail sauce or chili sauce, which are variations of ketchup.
- Add 1 teaspoon grated horseradish or / and lemon juice
- Add 1/2 teaspoon paprika to the seasoning.
- Add chopped herbs, dill or parsley work well.
