Quick sweet pepper sauce

This bell pepper sauce is ideal for boiled or roasted meat and pasta.

Ingredients

1 bell pepper (small, washed, seeded, and cut into strips)
1 clv garlic
1 T capers
1 t basil (fresh basil leaves, chopped)
  seasoning (salt and pepper to taste)

Instructions

  1. Rub garlic in the recipient. Add oil and pepper strips, season with a pinch of salt.
  2. Cook in the microwave, on high, for 3 minutes stirring at least once. Stand for 2 minutes.
  3. Mix in basil and capers. Serve.

Notes

The best recipient to cook this sauce is a deep plate.

Use peppers of any color. Red, orange and yellow bell peppers are sweeter than the green ones.
