Glazed chicken (microwave)

Tender, juicy chicken breasts are coated with a sweet and tangy honey mustard glaze, then cooked to perfection in the microwave oven. This time-saving, flavor-packed dish is perfect for busy weeknights, proving that you can create a scrumptious meal without sacrificing taste or quality.

Ingredients

4 pce chicken (boneless and skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips)
2 t paprika
1⁄4 c honey
1⁄4 c mustard (spicy brown mustard)
1 t seasoning (optional, onion powder or curry powder)

Instructions

Sprinkle chicken breasts pieces with paprika. Place them in a microwave dish, cover loosely with wax paper, and microwave until nearly done, about 8-10 minutes, turning dish halfway through cooking. 

Remove the chicken from the dish, leaving behind any liquid.

In a small microwave bowl, mix honey, mustard, lemon juice and seasoning. Microwave the sauce 1-2 minutes. 

Spoon the sauce over chicken, mix and microwave again for about 2 minutes, or until the glaze is hot and a fork can be inserted into the chicken with ease.
