Deviled pork chops

Deviled pork chops are delicious served with mashed potatoes.

Ingredients

2 teaspoons mustard (strong yellow mustard)
3 tablespoons tomato ketchup (tomato ketchup)
4 pieces pork (pork chops or pork steaks)

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 350°F (180°C) and mix mustard, Worcestershire sauce and tomato ketchup to make the deviled sauce.
  2. Place pork chops into a roasting pan and brush the tops with half of the deviled sauce.
  3. Roast for 15 minutes and then turn the chops, brush with the other half of the deviled sauces and roast for a further 15 minutes.
  4. Serve warm.

Notes

Serve with roasted potato wedges and onion rings that you can cook at the same time than the chops. Alternatively, cook some whole potatoes in the microwave oven until nearly done and finish them in the oven, at the same time you cook the meat. The potatoes will be tender and creamy inside, nicely browned outside.

Rice is another side dish that will go well with deviled pork chops.
