Classic lemon and herb baked fish

Use cod or haddock for this recipe. This is a great baked fish recipe and it is so easy.


4 pce fish (haddock or cod fillets, clean)
1 lemon (juiced and zested)
2 clv garlic (peeled, minced)
1 t herbs (optative, dried herbs)
  seasoning (salt and pepper to taste)
  parsley (frehs parsley, for garnish)


Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a small bowl, mix olive oil, lemon juice and zest, garlic, herbs (if using) and season with salt and pepper.

Place the fish fillets in a baking dish and pour the mixture over them.

Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.

Garnish with fresh parsley (if using) before serving.
