A South African BBQ skewer recipe with a marinade that makes the dish.


1 lb chicken (bonelless and skinless meat, diced)
1 lb lamb (diced)
2 onion (peeled, large slices)
2 bell pepper (red, chopped, large chunks)
1⁄2 c vinegar (white wine vinegar)
1 1⁄3 c wine (dry white wine)
2 lf bay leaf
1 T sugar (level)
1 T curry (heaped, curry powder)
1 T coriander (heaped, ground coriander)
2 t salt
2 pn cinnamon (ground cinnamon)
2 pn cumin (ground cumin)


Skewer the lamb and chicken cubes with a slice of pepper and onion inbetween.

In a pot simmer the other ingredients for 5 minutes then pour over the skewers.

Leave in the fridge for 24 hours then cook on a BBQ.
