Sliced banana fritters
Transform ripe bananas into a golden, crispy treat. Sliced banana dipped in sweet batter, fried to perfection. A simple dessert or snack.

Prepare the batter. Peel and slice the bananas.
Heat oil to 375ºF in a deep pan.
Dip banana slices into the batter and place them into the hot oil. Fry until golden brown, 2-3 minutes, until golden brown.
Remove from the pan and drain on absrobent paper.
Sprinkle with confectioner´s sugar, if using, and serve inmediately.
Notes
It is better to slice the bananas lenghtwise; and cut the banana in half if too large. It is more difficutl to dip and fry the small round slices.
Fry a few banana slices at a time.
Serve the warm fritters with a scoop of vanilla or coconut ice cream to create a delightful dessert contrast.
Variations
Enhance the batter by adding ground cinnamon or nutmeg to introduce warm, aromatic flavors.
Experiment with other fruits like apples or pineapples, sliced similarly, to create diverse fritter options.
