Pork Spanish style

Serve this pork recipe with rice, pasta or mashed potatoes.

Ingredients

1⁄2 pound pork (pork tenderloin or leg steaks, cut into strips)
2 sausage (spicy pork sausages or chorizo, cut into pieces)
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 clove garlic (crushed)
1 onion (sliced)
1 bell pepper (yellow, seeded and sliced)
2 teaspoons paprika

Instructions

Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat and cook pork strips and sausage pieces for 3-4 minutes, until browned.

Add sliced onion and pepper to the pan. Cook for 2-3 minutes and then add crushed garlic, cooking for 1-2 minute more.

Add paprika, stir to mix and pour tomato sauce into the pan. Cook for a few minutes, about ten, until the sauce is heated through and the meat done.

Notes

If in a rush and you don't have tomato sauce, pour 1 can chopped tomatoes into a microwave safe container, add a pinch of sugar and salt to taste. Cover and microwave on high for 8-10 minutes.
