Non-alcoholic sangria punch


Serves a crowd. An ideal drink for an garden party or outdoor celebration.


2 apple (Granny Smith, peeled, cored and cut into small chunks)
4 peach (peeled, pit removed and cut into small chunks)
2 banana (peeled and sliced)
1⁄4 c sugar (optional)
2 q liquid (lemonade or sprite)
4 q juice (red grape juice)


Place all ingredients, with the exception of the lemonade, into a large pitcher and chill overnight.

Add the lemonade shortly before serving. Give it another stir. Enjoy!

For an alcoholic sangria punch, substitute the red grape juice with the same amount of red wine and add 1 cup sugar extra. Add other fruits, such as orange or lemon slices, to your taste.

An ideal drink for a Labour Day celebration. It will remind you of summer.
