Syria

What people eat, drink and cook in Syria.

Kibbeh

A delicious traditional Middle Eastern dish, made with bulgur wheat, ground meat and spices, forming stuffed patties that are cooked until crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Kibbeh is served as an appetizer or main course and combines perfectly with fresh sauces such as mint yogurt.

Falafel

Crafted from ground chickpeas mixed with herbs, spices, and onions, these golden-brown balls are a staple of Middle Eastern cuisine. We are using prepared falafel mix for this recipe.

Hummus

Use hummus as a dip or a spread for sandwiches. It is especially good on toasted pita bread. Hummus is rich in fiber, iron and vitamin C. It is also a good source of protein.
