Spicy barbecue sauce

Brush this sauce over the meat while it is grilling for a hot and spicy Texan barbecue.

Ingredients

1 onion (chopped)
1⁄2 cup water
1⁄4 cup vinegar
2 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
2 pinches cumin (ground cumin)
4 drops hot pepper sauce (or to taste)

Instructions

  1. Put all the ingredients in a saucepan. Bring to the boil over a medium-high heat.
  2. Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
  3. Brush the meat cooking on the barbecue or grill with this sauce during the last 15 minutes.
