Preparation time 5 minutes

Notes

Always serve in a chilled copper mug for the authentic experience and to keep the drink ice-cold. Garnish with a lime wedge and a fresh mint sprig to enhance aroma and presentation.

Use a bold, spicy ginger beer and muddle the fresh mint for extra depth, a little muddle can enhance the herbal flavor.

Pair with salty snacks or hearty Irish dishes like beef stew for a complementary contrast.

Variations

Experiment with flavored bitters, a few dashes of orange or Angostura bitters can elevate the drink.
