Chocolate coated strawberries
Description
Delicious! Having chocolate and strawberries at the same time, what else could it be? it is very easy and even children can make this treat.
Ingredients
12 oz chocolate (semi-sweet chocolate chips or pieces)
6 T butter
1 t vanilla extract
2 lb strawberries (washed, stem on)
Instructions
Melt chocolate pieces in top of double boiler, or in the microwave oven.
Blend butter and vanilla into the melted chocolate.
Dip strawberries in the chocolate mixture, swirling to coat evenly.
Place on waxed paper and set in cool dry place.
