Apple pie (no sugar)
A sweet pie with no added sugar for the filling to help those on a low sugar diet.
Ingredients
4 cups apple (peeled and sliced)
2 teaspoons cornstarch (or tapioca)
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 pie crust (top and bottom)
1⁄2 cup apple juice (frozen concentrate, undiluted)
Instructions
- Mix apples and all ingredients until well coated.
- Pour into pastry shell and top with pastry.
- Bake at 425°F for 40-45 minutes.
