Apple cinnamon granola bread

This recipe will become one of your favorites for the bread machine.

Ingredients

2⁄3 cup water
1⁄3 cup apple sauce (unsweetened)
1 tablespoon butter (or margarine)
1⁄2 teaspoon salt
1 1⁄2 cups flour (whole grain flour)
3⁄4 cup flour (bread flour)
3⁄4 cup granola
1⁄4 cup milk (dry milk)
1 tablespoon brown sugar (packed tight)
1⁄2 teaspoon cinnamon (ground)
1 1⁄4 teaspoons yeast (active dry yeast)

Instructions

Add the ingredients the to bread machine pan in the order the manufacturer suggests and set it to work. Cooking time will depend on your bread machine. Read the instructions.

Usually, add the applesauce with the water first, then add butter. Add the granola with flour and other dry ingredients.

Notes

If the dough is too dry or stiff, or too soft or slack, adjust consistency by adding a little more liquid ingredients or a little more of the dry ones.
