American eggnog

A good old-fashioned American Christmas drink and still delicious. The triple sec adds different flavor to the traditional brandy, whisky or rum.

Ingredients

1 dash rum
1 ounce triple sec
1 cup eggnog
2 pinches cinnamon (ground cinnamon, or ground nutmeg)

Instructions

Mix the rum or brandy into some eggnog. Top with the triple sec and let the liqueur dribble down into the drink. Sprinkle with nutmeg.

Notes

Try other spices. Ground nutmeg also goes well with eggnog. What about ground allspice?
