Food processors

Food processors have a variety of functions. Shredding vegetables is usually the main function but many can act as liquidizers, blending foods into liquids to make soups and sauces, and mixers, to make dough and other mixes such as cakes.

Basically, all food processors can chop, slice, mince, grate, puree or knead food in just a few seconds. They bring different attachments, such as mixing blade, double bladed chopping knife, slicing, grating and shredding discs. Ensure the correct attachment is fitted, avoid overloading and use the feed tube to add liquids. Follow the manufacturers instructions.

It pays exploring the different types of food processors plus some accessories and other cooking aids that can double as food processor to see if they would be good to have one and which kind of food processor is best suited to our cooking style.
