Turkey mold

No need to waste food or get bored eating more of the same. Prepare a potted turkey from cooked turkey meat and recycle your leftover meat.

Ingredients

1 cup turkey (cooked meat, chopped)
1 cup mayonnaise
4 tablespoons water
1 tablespoon mustard
  parsley (fresh, garnish)
  cucumber (sliced, garnish)
2 leaves gelatin (enough to set 2 cup of liquid.)

Instructions

  1. Soak the gelatine granules in the water. Mix the chopped turkey meat and the mayonnaise in a bowl.
  2. Heat up the water and gelatine a few seconds in the microwave, about 30 seconds at 650 watts, and stir until the gelatine is dissolved. Add together with the light cream and mustard. Mix thoroughly.
  3. Transfer into a soufflé dish or distribute between 4 ramekins and chill for 2 hours, or until the gelatine is set.
  4. Turn out ont a serving dish and garnish with cucumber slices and parsley leaves.

Notes

Serve with toasted bread or crackers.

An ideal recipe for leftover roast turkey that can be used with other roasts.
