Simple seafood pasta

An easy yet wonderfully tasty dish from the south of France.

Ingredients

1 package pasta (linguine, cooked and drained)
1 package seafood (fresh or frozen, better defrosted if frozen)
1 package mussels
1 shallot (finely chopped)
2 cloves garlic (finely chopped)
1 cup wine
1⁄2 cup cheese (grated Parmesan)
1 cup wine (white wine)
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon butter
1 package crème fraîche

Instructions

Melt the butter in oil in a frying pan then add the shallot and garlic. Cook for a few minutes.

Add the seafood and cook whilst stirring for 10 minutes.

Add the wine and stir for a few minutes.

Add the warm linguine and stir in the crème fraîche.

Leave it a minute then serve topped with Parmesan.

Notes

The same recipe can be used to prepare pasta with caviar or pasta with salmon.
