Nut, date and orange salad

A delicious salad with North African flavor. The combination of flavors and textures in this salad makes it a unique and tasty dish.

Ingredients

1 head lettuce (wahsed and roughly chopped)
2 orange (peeled and sliced)
3⁄4 cup dates (fresh, pitted and halved)
1⁄4 cup walnut (shelled nuts, chopped)
1 lemon (the juice)
1 tablespoon sugar (brown)
  cinnamon (ground)
1 tablespoon orange blossom water
  seasoning (salt and white pepper)

Instructions

Place chopped lettuce in a salad bowl. Layer orange slices over the lettuce and then dates and chopped nuts.

In a small bowl, mix lemon juice, sugar, orange blossom water, salt and pepper with a fork. Pour this dressing over the salad.

Sprinkle ground cinnamon over the salad.
