Egg cheese

It is not your common egg custard.

Ingredients

2 quarts milk
4 egg
2 cups buttermilk
1⁄4 cup sugar
  honey

Instructions

  1. In a double broiler, heat milk.
  2. Mix together the buttermilk, eggs, and sugar in a separate bowl. Then add to the heated milk.
  3. Over a low heat, allow to simmer for 30 minutes. To keep the mixture from sticking, stir occasionally.
  4. Strain the milk and egg mix into a bowl and chill in the refrigerator for about 3 hours.

Notes

Serve with the fruit and honey.
