1⁄2 lime (cut into four wedges or slices)

Notes

Cachaça is a strong spirit made from sugar cane juice. Green lemon is not a good substitute for lime.

Variations

Use different types of fruit, crushed, such as pineapple, tangerine, kiwi, berries, and your favorite.Cahaça.

Substitute the cachaça with other liquor such as rum, or vodka, for a caipiroska, or sake, for a caipisake.
