Avocado dip

Serve with crudites such as carrot, celery, peppers, cauliflower and broccoli, or with chips including savory potato, pita bread, or tortilla chips.

Ingredients

1 avocado (large)
4 tablespoons cheese (soft cheese, or cream cheese)
4 tablespoons cream (light cream, single cream)
1 clove garlic (peeled and crushed)
1 tablespoon lemon juice
  salt (to taste)
  pepper (to taste)

Instructions

Put cheese, garlic, cream, lemon juice, salt and pepper in the bowl of a food processor or blender.

Cut avocado in half. Discard the stone and scoop out flesh.

Add the scooped avocado to the rest of the ingredients and process until smooth.

Pour into serving dish.

Notes

Store avocados in the fridge if you are not ready to use them, avocados will ripen in a couple of days at room temperature.
