Baked cod
Preparing cod in the oven offers a hassle-free cooking method. This baked cod recipe strikes the perfect balance between simplicity and delectable taste.
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350° F and grease the pan with butter.
Arrange fillets, placing them close together in the pan. Pour enough hot milk over fish to barely cover fillets.
Place on teaspoon butter on top of each fish fillet.
Bake for 20-25 minutes or until done.
Notes
Choose a shallow baking pan in which fish fillets will fit tightly.
Ad just enough milk to barely cover the fish.
The cod is ready when it flakes easily when touched with a fork.
If using frozen cod fillets, thaw before cooking.
The piece of fish it does not matter, it could be baked cod loin in milk or baked cod fillets in milk.
