Description

The image shows nurungji pieces rady to eat. Nurungji is a Korean dish made of scorched rice. It's usually eaten as a breakfast food, and can also be enjoyed as a dessert. The dish is made by leaving cooked short-grain rice in a pot on the stove until it's dry and lightly burnt. It's then scraped off the bottom of the pan and served either as a snack or meal. The scorched rice can be eaten plain, with some soy sauce and sesame oil, or even with other ingredients added, such as vegetables or meat.
