Description

Miso is a ubiquitous seasoning in Japanese cuisine, and there are three main types! White miso is made with white soybeans and rice, and offers a mild flavor. Red miso is made with red soybeans and barley, and offers an intense flavor. Finally, the mixed miso is made to satisfy the most demanding palates with its flavor halfway between the two previous ones is a mix of the white and the red.
